Jupiter

Jupiter is a y-shaped pelagic trawl door suitable for all pelagic fishing from deep water fishing of ocean redfish or blue whiting to high speed fishing of mackerel or sardine.

The doors spreading force, reduced resistance and stability has made them popular among skippers fishing off Mauritania and Morocco, north Atlantic waters and in Alaska.

Jupiter doors are designed with “4level” bracket rigging to gain maximum effect when the same door are needed to be rigged for shallow water fishing and deep water fishing and even during the same day of fishing.

The “4level” bracket is designed to fit two or more shackles at same time which comes in very handy when changing from deep water to shallow water fishing.

Jupiter doors can also be supplied with vertical flexible bracket on skipper request.

The main object in design and developing process of Polar doors was to obtain as good spreading force know by best doors makers on the market but more importantly, to achieve less resistance. With computer simulations, several trips to Flume Tank testing and modification after actual fishing trial backed up with experienced friends and skippers, Polar doors high spreading force and reduced spreading force has been confirmed.
